Monday’s recovery in crypto assets is keeping hope alive for a continuation of the bounce from critical November lows, with both bitcoin and ETH still trending higher since their late-2025 troughs.

At the same time, a reclaim above $91,000 in bitcoin and $3,100 in ETH would help take immediate pressure off the downside and reinforce confidence in the emerging uptrend.

Altcoins have broadly participated in the relief move. Short covering in derivatives markets appears to have contributed to price action, helping to ease some of the volatility seen over the weekend.

On-chain metrics have also shown stabilization in exchange flows and funding rates drifting back toward neutral, suggesting calmer interim conditions after a period of elevated stress.

Traditional market cues continue to shape sentiment, with global risk appetite ticking modestly higher on easing FX volatility and a softer dollar backdrop, relieving some of the cross-asset pressure that had weighed on crypto.

Equities have found a renewed bid, while haven demand has faded as U.S. political headlines have been relatively quiet over the past day.

Looking ahead, participants remain focused on incoming U.S. data and central bank commentary as key catalysts.
