The crypto market enters the week on a solid footing, with Bitcoin closing last week above its 50-week moving average and reaffirming the broader uptrend that has defined much of this year. The mid-week dip we discussed proved to be another buying opportunity rather than the start of any meaningful correction, with price support at key technical levels attracting renewed demand across digital assets. Momentum has since spilled over into Ethereum and the broader altcoin complex, reinforcing the view that the market remains well-anchored within a strong medium-term bullish structure. This resilience comes against a macro backdrop that is once again turning supportive. Calls for a more accommodative Federal Reserve have grown louder after last week’s softer data and a string of dovish public remarks, reversing some of the hawkish tone that weighed on risk assets in late October. Optimism around a potential resolution to the U.S. government shutdown has also added to risk appetite, helping restore confidence in cyclical assets including crypto. Seasonally, Bitcoin and the broader market have historically delivered strong fourth-quarter performance, and the current setup remains consistent with that pattern. The combination of sustained institutional inflows, steady liquidity conditions, and the approaching 2025 halving cycle continues to underpin constructive sentiment. While short-term volatility is always possible, the overarching narrative remains one of accumulation into strength rather than fading rallies. As the new week begins, the technical and macro landscape together argue for maintaining a bullish bias. |
