LMAX Digital volumes got off to a strong start this week. Total notional volume for Monday came in at $1.24 billion, 191% above 30-day average volume.

Bitcoin volume printed $545 million on Monday, 152% above 30-day average volume. Ether volume came in at $167 million, 118% above 30-day average volume.

Looking at average position size over the past 30 days, we’re seeing average bitcoin position size at $8,061 and average position size for ether at $2,565.

Bitcoin volatility has fallen back to a recent consolidation range low. ETH volatility has sunk to its lowest levels since November 2024. We’re looking at average daily ranges in bitcoin and ether of $3,665 and $127 respectively.
