Oil shock and rising yields weigh on risk sentiment

Markets head into the North American session in a risk-off mood as escalating tensions around the Strait of Hormuz drive oil and bond yields higher, support the dollar and weigh on US equity futures ahead of ISM manufacturing and JOLTS data.
