Starmer exits, markets move on

Markets head into the North American session with a cautiously constructive tone as easing Middle East tensions weigh on oil, gold, and the U.S. dollar, while investors largely look through the political shock of Prime Minister Starmer’s resignation and remain focused on central bank policy and the broader geopolitical outlook.
