CPI and Warsh face a high bar

Markets face a pivotal test today as investors look to US CPI for evidence that inflation is continuing to cool, while Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s testimony is unlikely to unsettle markets unless he delivers a meaningfully more hawkish message than is already priced in.
